(Please note that this form should not be used by current graduate students or post-doctoral fellows who must instead follow their department’s procedures.) 

The deadline for completing and submitting this form is 9:00am EDT on Monday June 23, 2025.

At the end of the form, you will be asked to upload your teaching statement. These statements are typically 2-4 pages in length. Note: this is not a teaching dossier. Please do not submit anything in excess of 10 pages.   

Please do not include your name anywhere in the document (for the purpose of being read anonymously). 
  
Your Teaching Statement should include: 

  • Statement of Teaching Philosophy: A description of your values, goals, and beliefs about teaching and learning supported by examples. 

  • Statement of Teaching Practice: A description of your teaching and classroom environment. This might include a description of how you would conduct a typical lecture, how your teaching experience has influenced your current philosophy and practices, and evidence of teaching effectiveness. 

  • Statement of Teaching Development: A description of any teaching-related professional development you've completed. Examples include teaching certificates, attendance/presentation at teaching conferences, and courses/degrees in pedagogy.
