Congratulations to students Jeff Qiao Wang (Math), Denis Goubkine (Math), and Trevor Van Den Heuvel (Engineering), who received first place ($500 US) in the Wharton School 2025 Wharton Undergraduate Consulting Club Case Competition.
The competition, which took place virtually on April 25, challenged undergraduate student teams in providing strategic advisory for a legacy department store experiencing challenges with loyalty, inflation, and margin pressures. By participating in the contest, they learned about “deal execution, stakeholder management, and data analysis.”
The WUCC Case Competition is a bi-annual event organized by the Wharton Undergraduate Consulting Club at the Wharton School of Business in the University of Pennsylvania. The competition “offers undergraduate students a platform to engage in real-world business and problem solving.”
